Happy Christmas to all readers

People First. Then Money. Then Things - Suze Orman.

This site focuses on long term wealth creation however the posts I write here are only focused on a tiny part of the life I live.  Even though I'm not a fan of Suze Orman I do very much like the quote above which sums me up well.  It is simplistic and says it all.  We cover the last two points here just about every post but rarely talk about the first.  That's not because it's not a priority but simply because it's not the focus of this blog.

At this time of year I'm about to descend into family and friends over drive.  I can't wait to catch up with friends and family that I see infrequently.  I can't wait to catch up with those I see frequently.  I can't wait for the laughs and stories.  I can't wait for the great food and drink [although I can wait for the weight gain that will follow and exercise ramp up that will follow after that :-)].

It's been a great year with some excellent comment and debate here at Retirement Investing Today.  Some of us have clearly continued to enjoy Early Retirement and plenty of us have made further advanced inroads towards FIRE.

This brief post is my last before Christmas so I'd just like to take this opportunity to wish all readers a very happy and safe Christmas.  I look forward to reigniting the FIRE discussions on the other side...
